Calcium Silicate
Calcium Silicate is a type of insulating product made from silica sand, portland cement, cellulose, water, with or without additives as necessary, formed into flat sheets through chemical reactions occurring at certain temperatures and pressures between the chemical elements of silica and calcium.
Calcium Silicate is an asbestos free insulation product that can withstand heat with high temperature. It is a lightweight, low thermal conductivity, high strength, reliable and durable. Calcium silicate is commonly used as insulating furnace in steel, petrochemical, ceramics, cement, and fire protection in building construction. In residential construction, calcium silicate is used as a ceiling insulation material, heat resistance and fire from the wall.
